Event Recap: IPWS Wellness Day 2024

 

The IPWS Wellness Day started with a warm welcome and introductions during check-in. Participants then enjoyed a refreshing breathwork session with Julie, emphasizing the often underestimated importance of breathing in health and wellness. This session highlighted how proper breathwork plays a pivotal role in managing stress and maintaining overall well-being.

 

 

 

Following this, Beatrice led an invigorating yoga class. Her gentle flow yoga class was well-balanced with meditation, pranayama (breathing exercises), and asana (physical practice) to take care of our bodies, minds, and souls.

 

 

Next, Jenna captivated the audience with her presentation on the significance of exercise as medicine, highlighting its benefits for overall health and well-being. A complimentary lunch provided a perfect break for attendees to relax and network.

 

 

In the afternoon, Carina and Farah shared their expertise on the crucial link between nutrition and skin health, offering practical tips and advice. Dr. Shimeng Gao then conducted an informative pelvic workshop, providing valuable insights and exercises to support pelvic health.

 

 

The event wrapped up with presentations from Lifeline and WAFW, showcasing their important work and initiatives. Overall, the day was filled with enriching activities and informative sessions that left participants feeling inspired and empowered.
