[EVENT RECAP] Pre-Holiday Mixer

Despite the cold snap and various obstacles, we closed November with a great mixer gathering. It was cosy evening to connect with the community and start the holiday season.

DEISY WONG WILL

Many thanks to our venue partner Gin & Juice, co-founded by female entrepreneur Deisy Wong Will. Deisy is a Chinese Indonesian who arrived in Shanghai in 2017. She co-founded Gin & Juice in 2020, a gin bar lounge in Jing’an’ coolest entertainment area – Shan Kang Li.

Q: What inspires you in other women? 

A: Confidence, Persistent and yet Humble!“When women support each other, incredible things happen.”

Q: What advice would you give women starting out as entrepreneurs? 

A: Selling is one of the core functions of any business, and start-ups are no different. Learn to be your no.1 sales person in your company.
