IPWS (International Professional Women’s Society) is a volunteer-run platform for dynamic women with diverse professional backgrounds to connect. Through our community and events, we build networks, foster personal growth, and develop professionally. We warmly welcome all professional levels, all nationalities and all genders as members to our organization and participants to our events.
The organization is fully run by a volunteer Board of Directors, Board Advisors, Committee Members, Interns and Volunteers.

Are you inspired by numbers? Excited about bookkeeping? As a key member of the Board of Directors, you will liaise with various other roles, prepare the budgets and feel invested in enabling the growth and success of the organisation. Finance function:
- Manage daily financial transactions and ensure accurate bookkeeping
- Operate and safeguard the IPWS bank account
- Regular bank reconciliation
- Prepare monthly financial reports, year-end financial statements, and financial analysis
- Prepare budgeting, including financial year budgeting, WLA budgeting, etc.
- Update the board on financial status in monthly meetings and at year end
- Direct support to the President and Vice President
- Work closely with Membership Executive to monitor membership fee payments
- Work closely with Event Executives and intern(s) to ensure accurate records of ticket sales (ticket payments are received via YooPay, Alipay and WeChat)
- Maintain relationship with YooPay
- Reconcile the balance on YooPay and arrange cash withdrawals
- Manage and reconcile donations to WAFW, liaise directly with WAFW on funds transfer
- Receive and reconcile the sponsorship funds
- Monthly salary payment to the intern(s)
- Review the event financial overview reports submitted by the intern(s)
- Prepare board meeting agenda, reminder & venue
- Update contact list
- Provide guidance and mentoring to the intern(s), including but not limited to event registration, event financial overview reports, manage the Google calendar for the board, order meals for board meetings and other meetings, supports to other board members, etc.
