IPWS annual sponsor, eco&more, is dedicated to using the finest plant-based ingredients in our home, baby and personal care ranges. This month, eco&more tells us about their refill project. Read all about refilling your favorite eco&more products, and saving money and the environment while doing so!
Everyone knows about recycling by now; the process by which materials can be broken down and used again for other purposes, which is great and recycling is amazing. But caught up in the flurry of the amazement of recycling we all seem to have forgotten about what we used to do, which was; refill.
eco & more, an eco-friendly company that uses powerful plant-based ingredients to formulate potent products free of all sorts of harmful chemicals like parabens and artificial dyes and fragrances, refills! Look at your wardrobe; after wearing your favourite staple tee you don’t simply throw it away because it got a bit mucky! You chuck it in the wash and in 20-40 mins it’s good as new to wear again and again and again. So why is it that we throw away perfectly good bottles just because there is no more product left?
In fact, left to nature it can take up to 450 years for the plastic packaging to decompose. At that rate; that used bottle of hand wash you threw away yesterday will just finish decomposing around the year 2467! As part of a zero-waste movement in China, you can save 20-30 plastic bottles from going through this process by simply refilling the bottles you already own at Eco more’s refill stations.
Not only does refilling your eco & more product’s save the environment it will save you money too. Refilling an entire product is half the price of the original! Thats 50% off as a thanks for choosing to reuse those beautiful bottles and not throw them away.
Next time your approaching the rubbish bin with your eco & more bottles in your hands, silently screaming to be refilled instead, decide on a different route; one that will leave both your wallet, the bottles and the environment happy.
Now it is even easier to refill as well with refill stations anywhere convenient. Current refilling stations are mentioned below, with more to come soon:
