IPWS is a globally influential community of international women with diverse professional backgrounds. We provide our community with different platforms to connect, build networks, and foster personal and professional growth. Mainly, we do this through monthly events such as workshops, panel discussions, networking events and mentoring opportunities. We warmly welcome all professional levels and all nationalities as members to our organisation and participants to our events.
The organisation is fully run by a volunteer Board of Directors, Board Advisors, Committee Members, Interns and Volunteers. We are currently looking for a new Board Member to join our team of ambitious, dedicated, driven women.

Global Relations Executive
IPWS is looking for a passionate individual who engages in community building and can expand networks for our non-profit organisation in Shanghai and beyond as our Global Relations Executive on the IPWS Board of Directors.
In the Global Relations role, you will work both locally and globally with current and potential chapters of IPWS in Asia and around the world.
Globally, the Global Relations Executive will:
- Be responsible for communication and coordination between the IPWS Board and chapters.
- Ensure that the IPWS vision, quality and standards are reflected in all chapter activities.
Locally, you will:
- Facilitate the management of IPWS community WeChat groups.
- Find new ways to engage with the IPWS community & volunteer team.
- Build awareness of women’s professional & personal development issues & trends through IPWS events & social media groups.
- Be a strong advocate and leader in the local community.
For this volunteer IPWS Board position, we are looking for a proactive and positive woman in the Shanghai community, with an eye for detail and strong communication skills. You have experience in leadership and community engagement, and you would be enthusiastic in translating the IPWS mission and values to inspire our community here and around the world.
