IPWS (International Professional Women’s Society) is a volunteer-run platform for dynamic women with diverse professional backgrounds to connect. Through our community and events, we build networks, foster personal growth, and develop professionally. We warmly welcome all professional levels, all nationalities and all genders as members to our organisation and participants to our events.
The organisation is fully run by a volunteer Board of Directors, Board Advisors, Committee Members, Interns and Volunteers. We are currently looking for new Board Members to join our team of ambitious, dedicated women.

Development/Sponsorship Executive
IPWS is looking for a passionate and outgoing Development Executive to help IPWS grow sustainably!
Most of the defined areas of responsibility for the role revolves around securing sponsorship for the organization, but we hope that the new Executive will bring fresh, new ideas for developing IPWS in the new season.
As the Development/Sponsorship Executive you will:

- Lead the development and implementation of a sponsorship plan with the help of the Board to ensure the financial sustainability of IPWS.
- Maintain a positive relationship with current sponsors. Follow up regularly to increase satisfaction and provide support.
- Manage all main sponsorship related activities, such as prospecting of potential sponsors, proposal customization and presentation, contract revision, follow-up and support.
Additionally, as an IPWS Board Member you will:
- Attend monthly Board Meetings (one evening per month).
- Collaborate in developing IPWS event programming throughout the year, including facilitating the annual Women Leadership Awards and the IPWS Summit.
- Attend IPWS events and represent IPWS to the best of your ability.
- Work towards achieving the mission and vision of IPWS.
For this volunteer IPWS Board position, we are looking for a proactive woman in the Shanghai community, with an eye for detail and strong communication skills. We hope that you are outgoing and enthusiastic about approaching people and talking about the unique IPWS community and platform. Having a network with relevant potential partners and experience in working with sponsorship and/or partnership is a big plus!
