Our Keynote Speaker Greg Nance can tell you all about it. Greg recently ran 7 marathons in 7 days on 7 continents to help students overcome financial barriers to go to college.
The theme of this year’s IPWS Summit is “The Courage to Lead”. We asked Greg about the role courage has played in his life;
“The courage of my big sister, mom and grandma have inspired me to dream bigger and work hard to make it happen.”

Greg Nance is working to expand education access. Greg is the CEO of Dyad.com, a mentorship platform that has helped students earn over $27M in scholarships. He is also the Chairman of Moneythink, an NGO providing teens in 30 cities with financial capability to boost college success. He is also an Advisory Board Member at MakerGirl, an organization that has inspired over 3,000 girls to get involved in STEM. His work has been recognized by President Obama, Harvard Business Review, and World Economic Forum.
Greg loves endurance challenges and has solo climbed Mont Blanc, swam across the Nile River, and run 250KM through the Gobi Desert. He recently completed the World Marathon Challenge where he ran 7 Marathons in 7 Days on 7 Continents to help at-risk students overcome the financial barriers to college. Greg is the proud uncle of Hannah and Anora, two smart and adventurous explorers in Seattle.

Most people don’t know I’m afraid of spiders, because I woke up with a camel spider on my face while resting during an ultra marathon in the Gobi Desert. (!!!)
