Last week, IPWS had the great pleasure to launch the 11th Women Leadership Awards (WLA). This means that the nominations are officially open, so don’t miss the opportunity to nominate yourself, a colleague or a friend!

Who can I nominate?
You can nominate yourself, a friend, a colleague, or any professional person in your community who has made a marked difference and emerged as an inspirational leader. If you want to nominate someone other than yourself, but don’t have the information for all fields in the nomination form, we encourage you to reach out to that person to help complete the application (or encourage that person to nominate themselves!).
What are the different categories that I can nominate for?
There are six categories for the 2017 Women Leadership Awards:
Business Leader of the Year
Innovator of the Year
Young Business Leader of the Year
Social Contributor of the Year
Entrepreneur of the Year
HeforShe Man of the Year
Can I nominate for more than one category?
You can nominate the same person for up to two different categories.
What are the criteria for nominating someone?
The WLA recognizes women leaders, and since 2016, men supporting women, who have emerged as leaders in their field, set an example, and made a clear difference in our community. To see the criteria for each specific category, please head over to WLA Criteria Guidelines under the Women Leadership Awards -section of our website.
Until when can I nominate?
The nominations are now open, and you have until April 21st, 2017 to submit your nomination.
How do I nominate someone?
Once you’re up to speed on the nomination criteria and ready to nominate yourself or someone you know, head over to WLA Nominations under the Women Leadership Awards -section of our website. After you have submitted the nomination form, which is fully confidential, an independent jury will review all nominations. The winners will be announced at the Women Leadership Awards ceremony on June 2nd, 2017.

The Women Leadership Award (WLA) is the longest running international award in China for women leaders, and was the only such award for over a decade. The WLA recognises professional women who have emerged as leaders in their field. As leaders, these inspiring women (and since 2016, men supporting women) have made a marked difference in our community and have forged paths for others to follow.
