We are delighted to announce that over 12,000 RMB was raised for the World Academy for the Future of Women over the weekend!

Last Saturday, IPWS hosted a celebratory Boho Chic Brunch to help support a future for young women in China. We enjoyed a wonderful afternoon at Kathleen’s Waitan, as we raised funds through a raffle for our beneficiary, the World Academy for the Future of Women (WAFW), while indulging in a delicious brunch and wine.

As we were fundraising for the WAFW, guests had the opportunity to win amazing prizes worth thousands from our 30+ raffle sponsors. A big thank you to all our incredible raffle sponsors for making the donation possible!

The World Academy for the Future of Women (WAFW) is a bold and daring leadership program focused on developing young women for leadership roles that will address and achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. The purpose of the World Academy is to advance and accelerate women’s leadership worldwide. In addition to fundraising at the annual Fundraising Brunch, IPWS supports WAFW throughout the year, with one paid intern position in 2020-2021 filled by a WAFW Graduate.
