It became a very busy summer for International Professional Women’s Society! While we usually take a break after July, the summer months continued to be about connecting professional women!

In August, IPWS hosted the Annual General Meeting to reflect on 2015 – 2016 season and plan for the future. It was a very big year as IPWS rebranded from EPWS, hosted the 10th Women Leadership Awards and threw the first IPWS Leadership Summit in May. IPWS president Tiziana Figliolia spoke at TEDx Shanghai Women Salon on the topic of “Empowering Professional Women Today”. Today the TEDx Shanghai Women have launched their 28th October event as well, so be sure to check their Facebook for all the updates on their speakers.

And lastly in early September, IPWS was invited to the Canadian Prime Minister & First Lady’s Round Table Discussion of Chinese women and girls’ achievements. IPWS joined Sophie Gregoire Trudeau’s gathering with many other great women leaders & organisations in China in early September.
