The first thing about rooster years in the Chinese zodiac is about being punctual – traditionally in China’s ancient time, the crow of the rooster tells people the time of day. So this year we’ll be thinking about ‘keeping our word’ and being truthful & punctual. There is a focus on the rooster also being courageous, for a cockfight means the roosters fight without fear.
While zodiacs & horoscopes might not always be on our mind as professional women, this time of year is important to replenish and take stock for the year ahead. Professional women ARE courageous and without fear, and if we’re truthful & punctual at work, surely that’ll help us in the year ahead.
